TEACHING IN ANCIENT FABLES

Fable 8

A man was once boiling honey. His friend suddenly appeared and the man wanted to offer him some honey, but it was too hot, and so without removing it from the fire, he fanned it to make it cool. In like manner, it is impossible to get the honey of cool wisdom without first removing the fire of worldly passions.

The above TEACHING IN ANCIENT FABLES is taken from THE TEACHING OF BUDDHA. May all who reads this article gain in wisdom and be well and happy. Sadhu! Sadhu! Sadhu!
